David Bluebaugh began his photography career in 1978 with a degree from the Brooks Institute of Photography. Since then he has worked for a diverse group of clients, including American Express, Hilton Hotels, Westin Hotels, Sheraton Hotels, Philips Electronics, Sears, Data General Corporation, and US West. In California, David has worked with retail customers such as South Coast Plaza, Sherman Oaks Galleria and Brea Mall. Other retail clients include Northpark Center in Dallas and the Galleria in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. His brand work includes a wide range of clients: Crate & Barrel, Gucci, Crabtree & Evelyn, Porsche Design, The Lenox China Store, and Tiffany & Co.

David credits Irving Penn’s work with flowers as one of the inspirations for his current work: “In using white as the background color, the impact of the essence and beauty of these flowers is brought to the forefront.”
